I always spend the last the last week of December and the first week of January Ill. I thought this year I was going to escape it. I spent a healthy Christmas.
Here is what happens. I get really run down. I eat way too much much garbage. I overindulge in ministry. I think about work 24/7, it was very busy. There were certain relationship issues. Nicholas had some issues. There were Family obligations as well as obligations to friends and a commitment to finishing a papers for my class on Roman's.
After Christmas...it actually gets harder. I had to whip my area into shape. It was the worse it had ever been. Right after Christmas is when I began to get ill. My neuropathy in my feet and left hand started screaming. I went to see the Doctor on Tuesday. He gave me a new medication. Topomax.
Right after I started taking the Topomax I began to get dizzy. I thought it was a side effect of the Topomax. But....it was the onset of some sort of infection. It has been in and out all week I was ok on Friday but I got slammed again yesterday. I had a lot of holiday traffic and I do not think anyone knew how sick I was. In a way I am so used to side effects from medications that trudging through illness is no big deal.
But...I just woke up with dizzyness, chest congestion, and a stomach virus. Bah! My head hurts too! I have 8 papers to write to finish on my Romans class. Should be an interesting experience.
On a side note.
I bought out my One Year Bible to start to Read over 2005. I forgot to read January 1st. So I am already a day behind. Not a way I like to start my devotions for the New Year.
I think an upcoming story will be Andrew's week in Cape May. He left on Tuesday and I spoke to him last night...*Bad Daddy*...and I could tell he was having a completely wonderful time.
Peace to All
